MY ROLE
July 2020 - January 2021
I started my contribution with Wells Fargo from supporting the Mobile App Navigation Redesign launch - top/bottom bar and menu navigation framework components. I collaborated with Stephanie Serrano and Stephen Zito on visuals and Sarah Searcy on delivery with from Elizabeth Menar’s Navigation Team.
Onboarding case study that detailed my 2+ week account opening process, while my tools were being set up.
App Asset project - over 200+ mobile screens across all app modules with updated navigation for banker documentation and marketing materials. Stephanie Serrano, Stephen Zito, Sarah Searcy & Ginger Jackson.
Appstore mobile app update screens for iOS, android mobile, tablet, video marketing, Stephanie Serrano, Stephen Zito and Sarah Searcy.
Coach mark - research, concept and deliver - tool tip component introducing bottom nav.- Stephen Zito, Sarah Searcy.
Competitive research and benchmarking of: N26; Mint, BBVA, Revolut. collaborated with navigation and research teams.
Native Top Bar navigation strategy. Delivered the top bar across various modules, deployment and testing. Stephen Zito was leading, while I was delivering visuals and collaborated with Eric Hare for content and Calvin Lloyd for interaction deliverables with Sarah Searcy keeping us on track and.
Private bank top bar navigation and branding strategy presentation to balance the user-centered navigation strategy with Private bank branding priorities. Collaborated with Stephen Zito, Stephanie Serrano, Ricardo Marquez.

February 2021 - May 2021
Native framework component delivery format for navigation components.
Qualitative Research collaborated with lead researcher, transcribed interviews, analyzed the data to find insights and patterns, created the final research readout.
Native App concepts collaborated with BCG on the initial concepts for Accounts, Account Details, All Transactions and Transaction details

June 2021 - March 2022
Scrum/design system visual/interaction/prototype specs for the following IOS & Android native framework components: Account tiles, My Wells Fargo deals, Bottom sheets, Native dialog, Account detail header, Account details tabs: overview, manage account, routing & details; Transaction details, All transactions, Transaction search & filter, Fico tiles, Complex account tiles, Account tile customization. QA, testing & validation.

TIMELINE

OBJECTIVE
Enhance performance, future-proof technology, modernize the look and feel, improve accessibility and usability, streamline navigation, create a new native mobile app experience.

PROBLEM & REQUIREMENTS
Offer customers the ability to preview the most relevant transactions, so that they can get the awareness of the movements. Provide curated access to the most used and strategically relevant capabilities + identify what value it provides for Wells Fargo.

PRODUCT DESIGN PRINCIPLES
Keep it simple - one tap, few fields
Make the best use of device capabilities
Make finding and navigating intuitive
Speak human, not bank
Fix the route cause the first time
Customers can do anything on mobile.

CONSTRAINTS
Legacy systems limiting the functionality and the deployment on native components app-wide. Turnover at design and framework development roles for IOS and Android. Sporadic testing process that tested features in separate simulated environments.
